Co-operative Group Members Meetings in May provide an opportunity for members to have their say ahead of the Group's AGM on 17 May. Members can go to meeting in any area (eight in North West and North Midlands) but vote only in the area they live in. More from Andy Jessop

Cooproute Call for Co-operative Culture Collaborators

Cooproute is a project co-financed by the European Commission. The project is about the creation and development of a European Route of Co-operative Culture, an itinerary going through various European countries. Rochdale Pioneers Museum are seeking applications from UK-based co-operatives who are interested in being part of the Cooproute. Further information here

Bolton College Community Learning Ambassadors Programme Seeks Volunteers to Deliver Workshops in May

The mid week daytime 90-120 minute workshops will offer an Introduction to Co-operatives and Social Enterprises Volunteers will have their expenses paid and need a good understanding of Co-ops and Social Enterprise, experience of learning situations and be able to communicate simply and effectively. FC United of Manchester Offer £300,000 Loan Stock, up to 4%pa Interest

As the football club's 4,500 capacity new stadium rises in North Manchester, its new loan stock scheme aims to borrow up to £300,000 to complete the funding programme. Organisations receive interest rates of 3% or 4%pa, depending on the term – 3 years or 5 years. The club has already successfully raised £5m+ including £1.8m in Community Shares. Interested? Fairtrade International is inviting nominations for the first ever Fairtrade Awards for Producers. Why not nominate one of your suppliers? The organisation, which works to secure better deals for farmers and workers, will be recognising the outstanding Fairtrade organisations and producers at its general assembly in Bonn this June.

One LancashireAs part of Transforming Local Infrastructure, Co-ops North West and some of our members have recently helped establish an umbrella organisation in Lancashire. Organisations, including co-ops, whose business is to help establish and develop other not-for profit organisations in Lancashire can become full members of the “company limited by guarantee. Membership is temporarily free and may help you get new customers. Co-ops North West is applying to become a ‘gold’ member. More details here.
